Buy electricity that still works when the site changes
Not the cheapest contract that breaks the moment you become flexible.
A cheap retail contract is not a strategy. It is a price on last year's load. The moment the site adds solar, a battery, electrified heat or flexible operations, that contract can become the expensive one. EnergiForge runs procurement as strategy: we know the sites, we know the market, we run an independent process, and we stand behind the position once it is live in EnergiForge Core.
Who It Is For
- CXOs who have to sign a position they can still defend in year two.
- Asset and fund managers who need one electricity logic across a portfolio.
- Sustainability leaders who cannot have the retail contract undo the carbon target.
- Development and precinct leads whose retail and embedded arrangements have to match the asset strategy.
The Problem
Brokerage that only chases cents per kilowatt-hour trains the organisation to ignore shape, network, environmental products, demand and the project pipeline. The retailer who wins is often the one who assumed the site would stay still.
- Blind tenders: incomplete interval data. No view of coming electrification.
- Split buying: flexibility, on-site generation and off-site PPAs bought in different rooms.
- Hidden fees: nobody can tell advice from placement until after the recommendation.
What We Do
Two moves. Assessment, then the process.
- Assessment. Load shape, network, environmental position, current contract, and what the project pipeline will do to that shape.
- Process. Competitive engagement with suitable retailers. You sign the supply contract. We do not. The live position is written into EnergiForge Core and we stand behind it.
How We Get the Result
We are independent of the retailers. We know your sites and we know the market. That is how we get the best result. We do the assessment, we run the process, and we stand behind the position once it is live in EnergiForge Core.
For core procurement, EnergiForge is usually paid a brokerage fee by the successful retailer. You do not pay a consultancy fee for that core process unless we agree additional work in writing. We tell you the arrangement exists before you choose a retailer. Independence means we do not need the deal to be dumb to get paid, we need it to be the one you can still live with.
What You Get
- A market assessment written as options and trade-offs, not a single recommended rate.
- A process retailers can actually respond to.
- A comparison you can decide on: price, shape, risk, term, flexibility.
- The live contract back in EnergiForge Core, with someone who still owns the result.
How It Sits with Core
Procurement reads EnergiForge Core and the project pipeline before it goes to market. It writes the new contract back into Core. If electrification or efficiency will change the load inside the term, that is designed here, not discovered in year two.
Electricity Supply Strategy
Are you a retailer?
No. You sign the supply contract. We do not.
Why not just take the cheapest offer?
Cheapest on today's shape is often expensive on tomorrow's.
Do you guarantee a rate?
No. We guarantee the process and we stand behind the position we recommended once it is live in EnergiForge Core. We do not underwrite the wholesale market.
Can you still run a straight tender?
Yes, if the assessment says that is the right move.
Buy for the site you are becoming
Execute an LOA and send 12 months of invoices plus interval data if you have it. We start with the assessment, not a rate card.
Delivery is backed by the Perform Guarantee: we guarantee the outcomes of any project where we complete the design and modelling.
